NEXTY Electronics exhibited a Hydrogen Fuel Cell at an open campus event at Kanazawa Institute of Technology

On July 13 and 14, 2024, NEXTY Electronics exhibited an air-cooled hydrogen fuel cell manufactured by Spectronik Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Spectronik), which NEXTY Electronics acts as  a distributor for, at an open campus event hosted by the Kanazawa Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as KIT). This is the first time we have exhibited a hydrogen fuel cell at a university.

This exhibition was held as part of an industry-academic collaboration project between KIT and commercial companies. NEXTY Electronics has been cooperating with KIT since April 2024, including supplying Spectronik’s air-cooled hydrogen fuel cells to KIT’s demonstration experiment “Distributed Energy Storage System Utilizing Hydrogen Generated by Renewable Energy.” As part of this collaboration, we were able to exhibit at the open campus event.

Many visitors, including high school students, visited the exhibition booth to deepen their understanding of the practical long-term and large-capacity storage that hydrogen fuel cells offer.

Going forward, NEXTY Electronics will continue to work toward the spread and realization of a hydrogen society by proposing new ways to use air-cooled hydrogen fuel cells through industry-academic cooperation with educational institutions.
