Wipers have very specific requirements. Infineon's integrated driver Embedded Power ICs provide a cost-effective solution for high-performance windshield wiper systems. Embedded Power ICs offer intelligent power-saving modes, including stop and sleep modes, and support on-demand energy management (standby). Furthermore, 256KB of flash memory meets the demand for increased memory (allowing for model-based software design). Low Vs operation is critical during wiping in cranking pulses. Embedded Power ICs can provide motor operation for low V batt operation. A TMR sensor and 14-bit sigma-delta ADC provide both cost-effective solutions and wiper angle accuracy. (Learn more here)
