O-Net has design capabilities of optical core technologies (e.g. multi-layer film, dicing, polishing, and so on) and optical elements (e.g. prism, free space isolator, and so on). O-Net is supplying the core technologies and customized optical elements to customers and using them into in-house products.

EDFA (On board type)

O-NET can support a lot of types of customizations, on-board type amplifiers, pluggable amplifiers, discrete amplifies, and so on. O-Net has all inner passive components in-house and 980nm pump LD in-house necessary for optical amplifiers. This is our big advantage. In addtion to EDFA, O-Net can support Raman amplifiers.

nano-ITLA/pico-ITLA

nano-ITLA

nano-ITLA and pico-ITLA is a smaller tunable wavelength laser device based on ECL (External Cavity Laser) technologiy. It can support C-band or L-band wavelength range and top-class narrower line width, less than 100 kHz, of important parameter for long-haul coherent transmission. The pico-ITLA is the newest ILTA, smaller volume than nano-ITLA by 40%.

For the one of current hot items, CPO(Co-Package Optics), O-Net offers lower power consumption ELSFP (External Laser SFP) as a new apprach to resolve thermal management issue on systems and replacement issue for laser failures. It can support over 20 dBm CW output per each port and realize top-class output power efficiency to power consumption. The ELSFP also can be customized 3 different configurations, 8 ports CW laser source type, 4 ports CW laser source with DR4 pass-through paths type, and 4 ports CW laser source with FR4 MUX/DEMUX paths type.

Lidless FAU (Fiber Array Unit)

Lidless-FAU(Fiber Array Unit)

FAU(Fiber Array Unit) is used for optical coupling between optical element and optical fiber, O-Net offers more thiner lid-less FAU. Lid-less FAU has no adhesive bonding stress, thus in the case of using PMF (Polarization Maintaining Fiber), the lid-less FAU can keep polarizaion extinction ratio of over 23 dB. It is a big advantage.

Folded passive components are re-resigned inner configuration to change double-sided fiber ports into single-sided fiber ports, and it can realize shrinking physical layout inside optical transceivers and amplifiers. And O-Net has been developing hybrid function passive components
