・High sensitivity
Thanks to its high sensitivity, which allows for the recognition of the color and shape of objects even in low-light environments such as at night, it is possible to acquire high-quality information when driving at night without lighting.

• High Dynamic Range (HDR)
Thanks to its high sensitivity, which allows for the recognition of the color and shape of objects even in low-light environments such as at night, it is possible to acquire high-quality information when driving at night without lighting.

• LED flicker reduction (LFM)
This system suppresses flicker that occurs when imaging traffic lights and signs using LED light sources, enabling the acquisition of high-quality information. (IMX390/490)

◆ Digital Interface IC (GVIF/GVIF2)

Features of GVIF/GVIF2 transmission

◆What is GVIF?
GVIF is an interface standard developed by Sony that enables digital transmission using only one differential pair of wires. It is used as an interface between digital data source devices such as car navigation systems, DVD/BD players, and digital terrestrial television broadcasters, and DISPLAY. GVIF can be used to connect to all video equipment.

◆Features of GVIF/GVIF2 transmission
- Transmits serial signals up to 4.8 Gbps using a differential pair of STP CABLES.
• High noise immunity, low radiation noise
- Automatically adjusts to the SFTCLK frequency according to the panel resolution.
(Frequency negotiation function)
・Full-duplex bidirectional communication possible
• Equipped with copyright protection technology (HDCP)
• Voice transmission possible
- Multiple video sources can be multiplexed and transmitted in a daisy-chain configuration.

◆ Adaptive CABLES Equalizer
By observing the amplitude of the equalized waveform, the optimal waveform can be reproduced regardless of CABLES length or attenuation rate. Furthermore, by passing the signal through the AGC circuit at the receiving end, it is possible to correct any attenuated signals.

◆ High noise tolerance
The GVIF LSI is designed with robust circuitry to withstand clock jitter and POWER SUPPLIES noise, considering its use in multi-stage configurations such as repeater connections.
- FIFO circuit in the clock input stage for acquiring external input images
All circuits through which high-speed signals pass inside an LSI are differential circuits.

◆Low-radiation noise
Regarding EMI, the results meet Class 5 as defined by the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR) standard CISPR 25 Ed. 3.0:2008, "Vehicles, small vessels and internal combustion engines - Radio interference characteristics - Limits and measurement methods for the protection of onboard receivers."
