On January 1, 2022, New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. and Ricoh Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. merged to form the new company Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc.
Leveraging the strengths that both companies have cultivated over many years as analog device manufacturers, the two companies will offer automotive-grade ICs that meet the requirements of various applications, from the cabin to driving systems.

Nisshinbo Micro Devices' LOUDSPEAKERS driver IC "NA1150" is a PWM input audio amplifier for microcontroller-based audio playback systems, and compared to systems using DACs or voice synthesis ICs, it saves space, reduces development time, and reduces the number of components.
Customers can easily output voice and sound effects by simply installing the middleware and connecting the NA1150 to a microcomputer.

High-voltage POWER SUPPLIES IC with a maximum rating of 80V

Nisshinbo Micro Devices offers a lineup of LDOs, reset ICs, and step-down DC/DC controllers with operating voltages up to 60V (maximum rating 80V) to support the design of 48V POWER SUPPLIES systems, including EVs.

NJU77903

Input/Output Full Swing CMOS OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS

The NJU77903 is a 36V input/output rail-to-rail CMOS OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS featuring an output current capability of 200mApp typ.
It is ideal for high voltage, high output current applications such as drive motors for hybrid and electric vehicles and resolver excitation, which is an angle detection sensor for EPS.
In such applications, high output currents were handled by configuring circuits using multiple components such as OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS and TRANSISTORS, which led to complex circuit designs and larger ECUs.
By using NJU77903, it contributes to simplifying design and reducing the size and weight of mounting boards and ECUs.

RN5T5611 Series

ISO26262 ASIL-D compliant, combined POWER SUPPLIES for automotive CMOS image sensors

The RN5T5611 series is a combined POWER SUPPLIES for CMOS image sensors that complies with the ISO26262 ASIL-D development process.
It combines two DC/DC converters, one ultra-low noise LDO, four overvoltage and undervoltage monitoring circuits, and a BIST function.
The input voltage range is 3.0V to 5.5V, with a maximum rating of 6.5V, and the output voltage can be flexibly adjusted by laser trimming.It also has a built-in I2C interface, which makes it possible to read the product's status and change some of its settings.
The package is QFN0505-32-P7 (5.0mm x 5.0mm), and although it is leadless, it uses a wettable flank structure that makes mounting inspection easy.

NR1640 Series

Ultra-low noise, high ripple rejection LDO linear regulator for automotive applications

The NR1640 series is an LDO linear regulator product that combines ultra-low noise and high ripple rejection through a sophisticated wafer process and optimized circuit layout.
The output noise is 6.0µVrms and the ripple rejection is 80dB, contributing to the high performance of in-vehicle sensor devices.
The input voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V (6.5V rated), the output voltage range is 2.5V to 4.8V (0.1V increments, internally fixed), and the output current is 200mA.
In addition, the device supports a wide operating temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, with an output voltage accuracy of ±1.5% across the entire operating temperature range, achieving high accuracy even in harsh environments.
