The AD5529R is a 16-channel, 16-bit voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a built-in high-precision reference. The AD5529R operates with both POWER SUPPLIES and bipolar POWER SUPPLIES. It features monotonicity and an integrated rail-to-rail output buffer capable of source or sinking up to 25mA.
The output voltage accuracy can be set using the 4.096V internal high-precision reference.
Four toggle pins support a variety of digital functions, including toggle, sinusoidal dithering, and ramping at multiple frequencies. Using an analog multiplexer simplifies the measurement of DAC output voltage, load current, and junction temperature. The analog multiplexer can be used in applications requiring a closed-loop system.
The AD5529R features programmable offset and gain registers, improving overall system efficiency and performance by offloading tasks from external digital controllers.
The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) supports 3-wire and 4-wire connections and operates at LOGIC levels from 1.98V to 1.08V.
The SPI interface supports in-FRAMES target addressing, and up to four AD5529R devices can share the same SPI interface.
