The LT7176/LT7176-1 are monolithic PolyPhase DC/DC synchronous rectification step-down regulators capable of continuously delivering up to 24 A of current. The LT7176-1 option features two SWITCHES ng phases, which are connected to two INDUCTORS to drive a single stabilized output POWER SUPPLIES. Fast, clean, and low-overshoot SWITCHES ng edges enable high efficiency while minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions. An I2C-based, PMBus 1.3-compliant serial interface allows control of device functions while providing telemetry information for system monitoring. The LT7176/LT7176-1 is compatible with the LTpowerPlay® graphical user interface (GUI) tool.
On-time-controlled valley current-mode control with a minimum on-time of 25 ns (typical) enables high-SWITCHES ing frequency (fSW) operation at low output voltages (VOUT), resulting in excellent transient response and a compact overall solution size.
VOUT, fSW, and phase can be selected using external setting resistors. Settings can be configured via the PMBus interface or stored in the on-chip non-volatile memory (NVM), which can be programmed three times.
