Features

Can be used in environments up to 110°C

Due to their characteristics, optical products tend to have an operating temperature range of less than 100°C, but this product can be used in an environment of 110°C (Tj = 125°C).

External infrared LED detects surface and distance

By increasing the drive voltage, it can drive six external infrared LEDs, enabling gesture sensing on surfaces (such as DISPLAY) and extending the proximity sensing distance to up to two feet.

Distance measurement accuracy of less than 1mm

The built-in PHOTO DETECTORS of this device has a high resolution of 16 bits, and can measure the distance to an object close to the device with an error of less than 1 mm. This allows it to detect things like surface deflection (force sensing).

Can be used outdoors

Outdoors, this IC is particularly exposed to various types of noise light, including sunlight.The built-in optical FILTERS and DCkill function can remove infrared wavelengths contained in noise light, making it possible to use it outdoors.
