What is Bluetooth? Explaining how it works and how to use it

  Bluetooth generally has a communication range of 10 to 100 meters.

  When you enable Bluetooth, your device will discover other Bluetooth devices around it, a process called "scanning."

  After the devices detect each other, they pair. Pairing may require user interaction, such as entering a PIN or pressing a button. If pairing is successful, the devices will recognize each other and will automatically connect from the next time onwards.
• Using Profiles
  Bluetooth has different profiles that allow different types of data communication.
  For example, there is the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) for audio devices, and the Human Interface Device (HID) profile for KEY BOARD and mice. Once paired, data is sent and received using these profiles.

• Bluetooth 1.0/1.1/1.2
  The initial version had a maximum speed of 1 Mbps, which allowed for basic data communication, but limited connection stability and speed.
• Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
  Released in 2004, Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) increased the maximum data rate to 3 Mbps, allowing for faster data transfers.
• Bluetooth 3.0 + HS
  It was introduced in 2009 and offered speeds of up to 24 Mbps in High Speed (HS) mode, but because HS mode also uses Wi-Fi, it's not actually a Bluetooth-only speed.
• Bluetooth 4.0
  Released in 2010, it was the first to introduce Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which operates with very low power consumption, making it suitable for battery-powered devices such as smartwatches and fitness trackers.
• Bluetooth 4.1/4.2
  These versions have improved BLE performance and security, with version 4.2 in particular increasing data transfer speeds by 2.5 times and adding privacy features.
• Bluetooth 5.0
  Released in 2016, it boasts four times the range, double the data speed, and improved ability to connect to multiple devices simultaneously.
• Bluetooth 5.1/5.2/5.3
  These versions have further improved performance and added new features, notably 5.1, which improves location accuracy, and 5.2, which introduces a new audio profile called LE Audio.

Although Bluetooth has a lower communication range and transfer speed than Wi-Fi, it consumes less power.
Due to these characteristics, Bluetooth is primarily used for short-range communication between devices, making it suitable for headphones, KEY BOARD, mice, smartwatches, etc. Wi-Fi is used for internet connection and large data transfer, making it suitable for PCs, smartphones, TABLETS, etc.

Standard Profile
A profile defined and published by the Bluetooth SIG. There are approximately 100 profiles defined, and among them, there are some that are commonly used. For example, HSP (Headset Profile) is a profile for headsets, and HID (Human Interface Device) is a profile for KEY BOARD and mice. There is also a profile called A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) that enables high-quality audio streaming.

Custom Profile
A profile independently developed and defined by a third party. While it is sometimes used to differentiate from other companies' products, it may not be compatible with other companies' products.
